The name says it all...I love to go junking. It's the thrill of the chase, and the rush of the find...but it is my husband and three sons that bring me the most joy.
That's the short version.
I live just north of Nashville, Tennessee, in a small town of about 5000. I've been a Tennessean all my life. Farm girl roots, small town girl with big city ideas. I love all that is simple and rise to the challenge of all that is not easy. You have too, right!
I have been around the junking business (antiques and collectibles for the big shots) forever. When I was a little kid it was my mom who taught me to love door knobs and worm riddled wood. If you follow me you will learn that metal (especially if it has rust), wood, and concrete are some of my favorite things. So it is understandable that I work part time in an antique mall, have 3 booths and a showcase in various malls. I've done it all, set up and shopped the flea markets, shopped and set up at special events. Refinished, painted and burned projects! I am a jack of all trades and master of none. Which includes blogging.
